Badmood Recordings brings out the second release by slovenian producer Pier with a full bodied sub-bass on a half step number, Meditation reminiscences of early Mala and the DMZ sound, taking us right back into those sweaty, massive Brixton meditation sessions. To be played at high volume preferably in a similar sound system.
On the flip side, a dark twist by Berlin based 1Way on remix duty closes the package nicely for complete sound-system pressure. Successfully road tested in the last few months by both producers.
